Hi everyone, I am just intrigued to see what everyones favourite gameshow is BESIDES Millionaire. An explanation would be nice too! My Favourites include the Million Pound Drop and Golden Balls. I have always admired their Complex formats. I am sure there are many more but at the moment my head cannot think of them!!  |

My favorite gameshow is a Japanese one, SASUKE (you guys would know it as Ninja Warrior). My LEAST favorite is American Ninja Warrior (ANW: USA vs the world was fixed, in stage three, 2 of the japanese competitors should have won their heat and the score should have Benn 6-6-6,meaning a three way tie, I have a feeling TBS won't send them back)

Ah A Ninja Warrior Fan! Also another Programme which I believe is of Japanese Origin is Takeshi's Castle, which airs on the channel Challenge, Similar to GSN.

I like Winning Lines, Twenty One, Catchphrase, and there are so many other shows I like, but I don't want it to be long.

Catchphrase! I used to love watching that show. I believe that it is now hosted by Stephen Mulhern. I also recently downloaded the app.

I've downloaded the app too, but for some reason it keeps on crashing whenever I use it. I think I need a new iPod or maybe get an iPad.

I had the exact problem, See if these tips will work... - Close the app fully - Delete and Reinstall - Restart your iPod (Sleep/Wake Button followed by Home button and Hold) - Wait until the latest update comes out, your device may not be compatible (What generation is it?) Hope this helps mate! |

In Spain they aired it from 1996-1998, re-aired it from 2004-2006, and re-aired it (again) from 2010-2012. With different narrators but they were inventing the names for the contestants and the bosses. Sample episode (from the re-air in 2004): "A couple years ago, in a very far country named Spain, they had a show of extreme laughter. One day it disappeared and we never knew anything about it. Today it comes back, with more strongness, with more laughter, with more hype, and this time to stay..."

My favourite game show outside of WWTBAM has to be Brainiest. I wish it had as big a success as Millionaire. I love the way the gameplay works and the Codebreaker and Missing Link Puzzles are clever ideas. I would love for itv to make it come back in a 2014 version, every once in a while, with something like "Britain's Brainiest X Factor Contestant" or "Quiz Show Host". I like the French version on TF1 but it would be great if they made other versions than "Le Grand Concours des Animateurs" (France's Brainiest Host) and if they put more modernity in the set and the game, the show looks identical to how it was broadcast more than 10 years ago! A couple of my favorites include Wheel of Fortune, Sale of the Century, Match Game, (the Gene Rayburn run, but the Canada revival was great too!) and Jeopardy. I remember watching the shows and for me it's always such a fun time to look back at the old 80's, 90's, and even 2000's episodes!

My favorite game show is definitely a French one, Fort Boyard. An adventure game, on air since 1990.
