(1,000,000) 500,000 250,000 150,000 100,000 (50,000) 30,000 20,000 15,000 10,000 (5,000) 4,000 3,000 2,000 1,000 And this one brings back the problem of the free shot at doubling your money (TWICE!). Surely this would be better: 15: | ---<
| £1,000,000 | >---
| 14: | ---<
| £500,000 | >---
| 13: | ---<
| £200,000 | >---
| 12: | ---<
| £120,000 | >---
| 11: | ---<
| £80,000 | >---
| 10: | ---<
| £50,000 | >---
| 09: | ---<
| £35,000 | >---
| 08: | ---<
| £25,000 | >---
| 07: | ---<
| £16,000 | >---
| 06: | ---<
| £10,000 | >---
| 05: | ---<
| £7,500 | >---
| 04: | ---<
| £5,500 | >---
| 03: | ---<
| £4,000 | >---
| 02: | ---<
| £2,500 | >---
| 01: | ---< | £1,000 | >--- |
A bit unorthodox, I know, but it solves the problem of free shots at doubling your money and it solves the problem of potentially losing more than you stand to gain in the later stages. Any opinions?

87,500, 160,000, 320,000, and 640,000 are awkward amounts to win.

If I could make US millionaire, I would make the Clock Format with a slight difference: There are 10 questions to the million. The questions are harder. Lifelines are different - Ask the Expert (Ask Derpy in PPT), Switch, and either Ask the Audience or Lucky Dip (Which selects an answer informing of it being right or wrong.) Switch the Question doesn't allow you to walk away or use a lifeline. Jump is earned after Q6 - $32,000 but it the penalty for using it will reduce $1,000,000 to $900,000. 15 seconds for first 3 - 30 seconds for next 3 but no more clock for questions 7-10. Original and Clock Strachan scores to return:
Here is the money tree:
Q10 - $1,000,000 Q9 - $250,000 Q8 - $100,000 Q7 - $50,000 Q6 - $32,000 safe Q5 - $8,000 Q4 - $4,000 Q3 - $1,000 Q2 - $500 Q1 - $100
