I've noticed that millionaire is falling apart in the uk and the us with the ratings. Could millionaire fall to rock bottom?

Actually, US Millionaire is doing better than last season under the new format. So no, the US millionaire isn't. UK isn't just falling apart, it already fell apart However, that being said, US Millionaire needs a winner. We haven't had a real winner in ages, because the question writers make the last 3 or 4 questions impossibly hard and obscure, even in the shuffle game. I have figured that the only way you could win the shuffle game is if you had at least one skip coming into the last 4 questions, probably actually 2, simply because the odds of someone knowing not one, not two, not three, but ALL FOUR obscure questions they ask, is probably almost 0. So if someone can make it to round 2 with 2 skips, they might have somewhat of a chance. But I still doubt it. The show used to attract a lot of intellectuals, but now it just seems to attract housewives and college students who want some quick cash.

UK isn't just falling apart, it already fell apart Having said that, you got to mention US Millionaire is not even Millionaire anymore, therefore we could say that it fell apart as well. As for UK... well... hard to say...

I agree with Adasiekkk. US Millionaire is not like millionaire at all. The Uk millionaire should be doing better.
Leimeisei, I agree with you on the difficulty and I wish John Carpenter could go back win the million.

Well remember the 2nd time John Carpenter went on Millionaire (I believe for charity) he only won $250,000 because of increased difficulty. This was still in Primetime with Regis

I think that UK Millionaire started struggling years ago. It needed to be reinvented, but whenever they tried to reinvent the show they changed all the wrong things, such as the music. It just lost its edge. The set upgrade and clock were just too late.
US Millionaire hasn't fallen apart. At the end of the 2009-2010 season, including the return to primetime, I actually would have said that Millionaire was the best it has ever been. I don't like the new format nearly as much as the old one, but it's still entertaining, and the ratings are strong. In fact, I think the US Millionaire has eclipsed the UK version in just about every way now. It just evolved into a much stronger series.

I wouldn't say so. I think it's still doing quite well, but one thing I just don't think they have on Millionaire like they used to are prepared contestants. I don't think people take it seriously like they used to. They just go on there and use up their lifelines within the first four questions. I think it'd be much more entertaining if people studied hard again and actually won something respectable.
