Did anyone catch "Deal or No Deal" this week? Pretty cool, but it's no Millionaire. I also thought Howie Mandel did a good job.

I like Deal or No Deal. It brings alot of suspense to the viewers and I think it will last awhile. However, I agree with Regisfan by saying that its no "Millionaire".

I think NBC is slowly killing it by airing it so much. It's suffering from "Millionaire Syndrome"! ;D

Yes, especially now that NBC is going to start airing it three times a week.

We had Deal or No Deal in the Philippines too. People are pretty much curious about the mysterious identity of the Banker. It's a thriller.

An interesting note: our version has 22 red boxes instead of suitcases. It's all totally different to the rest of the world, and has a top prize of £250,000. But it does have Noel Edmonds!!

I'm not sure I like your guy's version near as much as ours, your's (and no offense) is pretty bland. Our's has many more lights and sounds which builds up a lot more excitment than the one in England.

I share your thoughts, actually. While ours is unique, it doesn't quite match the US version!

The Australian version of DOND used to be 1 hour long & have a top prize of AUD$2,000,000(2003) and then the next year(2003) the top prize was taken down to AUD$200,000.

But i think the Australians (who created their deal or no deal) were pretty geniurus (i know its bad spelling but im hungarian) because its a really big takedown ($1,800,000). I think they should stick with $2 millon or at least $1 million
