Hey all,
I was just interested in what everyone's watching on TV lately (that isn't a game show). There's so many terrible shows on that it's just hard to find the good ones sometimes.
This'll be interesting as well, because obviously we have members from a variety of countries, so we will have TV shows that are totally obvious to us but others perhaps might not have heard of them.
For me personally, I have an interest in 3 shows: Saturday Night Live (NBC), Modern Family (ABC), and The Event (NBC). The Event is currently on a 2-month hiatus but I am anxiously awaiting its February return.
Remember: no game shows on this list!!

Who wants to... no, wait, that's a game show. 1 vs... wait, that's also a game show. Million Euro Dro- gaaaah!!!
Honestly, television in Germany is boring as hell. Wherever you go, you see families not agreeing with each other then taking each other to court and chopping each other's head off, all that played by horrible, HORRIBLE actors. If you find a station without those kind of reality shows, you end up in court instead. Watching someone (played by a horrible actor) being accused by a witness (played by a horrible actor) until the real culprit (also played by a horrible actor) is revealed by some random man/woman/boy/girl/dog/cat/etc. who tells the judge something the average IQ would've figured hours ago. Did I mention that those random people are played by horrible actors?
So there's little left to watch. That's why I usually don't watch TV if there's no game show on.

Right now, it goes: -The Office (NBC) -30 Rock (NBC) -Glee (FOX) -Modern Family (OH MY GOD YES) (ABC) -Saturday Night Live (NBC) -Family Guy (FOX) -The Simpsons (FOX) -Spongebob if it's before the movie, even if I'm fourteen and it's like "-_- I'm watching Spongebob right now" (Nickelodeon)

#1 is Chuck (NBC). Can't live without my weekly dose of Chuck. The holiday hiatus was brutal. Following that: The Event (NBC) V (ABC) Eureka (Syfy) Warehouse 13 (Syfy) Caprica (Syfy) The X-Files (BBC America/Syfy/Chiller) Harry's Law (NBC) House (FOX) Family Guy (FOX) The Simpsons.. occasionally (FOX) Covert Affairs (USA) America's Got Talent (NBC) I think that's it. For now. As you might notice, I'm big on science-fiction stuff.

First of all, I agree with GrownupLawolf. German (and Austrian) television is terrible! There are certainly some highlights on primetime but during daytime you better turn your TV off unless you wanna suffer serious brain damage. Most TV channels copy each others ideas with the difference of making the show even worse than the original format. It's basically folk musik, documentaries from zoos, cookery shows and shows from other countries that are usually transformed into something sentimental or unnerving. The only show really watch with passion (except for WWTBAM) is "I'm a celebrity... Get me out of here!", mainly because of the hosts' hilarious remarks. Apart from that... nada.
