Here are the official rules of Millionaire Fans:
1. A member may not make offensive, lewd, or mean-spirited posts on this site. Any material of this nature will be removed immediately, and the poster of this material banned.
2. Flaming of fellow members is strictly prohibited. Everyone here is a person, and everyone makes mistakes. Picking on someone because of their mistakes is wrong, and will not be tolerated at Millionaire Fans.
3. Any material posted that is related to file sharing or other illegal business is prohibited. Any posts concerning these matters will be removed.
4. Music or graphics from Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, including both official and fan made works, will be shared at the discretion of the creator of those works. Official music and graphics will be shared only in the Fan Games Sharing Center. This rule was implemented at the request of the artists who made those items and who have graciously shared them with this community over the years. Fan-made music and graphics, as well as fan-made software, are only to be shared at the discretion of their creators. Material from the Fan Games Sharing Center is not be shared anywhere else, including on the boards, through the PM system, or on other websites. Furthermore, no member is allowed to steal any fan-made work created by another member without that member's explicitly given permission.
5. To gain access to the Fan Games Sharing Center, a member must go through the official auditioning procedure that is outlined in detail in the Auditions sub-board. Anyone who attempts to obtain access through any other means will come into violation of this rule.
6. Bumping old threads that have been inactive for several months or even years is prohibited unless a poster has new and highly relevant information to add to the old discussion. Posting in old forum threads, especially if the posts in question add nothing of value to the community, is not only against the rules, but is bad "netiquette" and should be avoided at all costs. If it becomes apparent that a site member is bumping inactive threads simply in order to increase his or her post count, that member may receive a warning or even be banned from the community. All situations involving a violation of this rule will be judged on an individual basis by the staff, and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.
7. Backseat moderating is strictly prohibited. Only staff members are authorized to take disciplinary action on the boards. Under no circumstances should members threaten other members with disciplinary action.
These rules are expected to be followed here at Millionaire Fans, and if any of the rules are broken, fitting punishments will be given to the offender.
