Does anyone happen to know where I could find the sound effect that was used for Switch the Question during Meredith's early seasons on WWTBAM? The two sound effects in Switch the Question I am looking for is: ~ Answer Reveal ~ Question Switch To give you an idea of what I'm looking for, here is a link to one of the YouTube videos showing Lyn Payne's run on the show in Season 6. www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVfXp9Y5UPk&feature=relatedThe sound effects are played at these points in the video: ~ Answer Reaveal = 5:03 ~ Question Switch = 5:10-5:11 Hope this'll help. Thanks!

The answer reveal is kind of tricky. I believe it is the 2nd stab in the 50:50, but it's hard to isolate it since the first stab overlaps it. Outside of that, your best bet is probably the 3rd stab in the fastest finger reveal. It's not exact, but it's not really noticeable unless you play them both side by side. You could also try changing the pitch of the 2nd stab of the fastest finger answer and it might give you a better result.
The question switch doesn't sound like anything that was originally produced for the show, and is most likely some random generic "whoosh" effect. The closest thing I can find is from the 2008 music (which obviously isn't the original since most of it was composed after this lifeline was retired) - specifically the Question Clock Reveal, but it has some overlap of another sound in there. The only other one that comes close I believe is the audience graph removal, which is a basic whoosh, but not the same.
Hope this helps, good luck!

Hmmm....well, I have never thought that the 50:50 or FF question reveal could be a possibility. Another one that is quite similar is the old Ask the Audience results SFX (with an echo effect). And you're right, the question switch is difficult to find. In fact, I Google-searched it at least 30 times with different words to find any good similiaries of the sound effect. Thanks for the help! And I gotta say, I love the videos of the show you put on YouTube. Keep it up!

This has to be the hardest piece of millionaire sfx to find. I think Mech had it spot on when he mentioned changing the pitch of the 2nd stab of the fastest finger answer and/or the 2nd stab of the 50:50. You could try extracting it from the video or something but it is tough...

What'd I'd suggest personally is to, as deltaik24 said, extract it from the video, hopefully it does not have any voices or irregularities in the background. You can use Windows Movie Maker or any 3rd party software to do so and I'd suggest using this YouTube URL video downloader. download.cnet.com/YouTube-Downloader/3000-2071_4-10647340.htmlGood Luck! With Audacity, I was able to experiment with the 50:50 and the 3rd FF-stab, and turns out that the 3rd FF-stab (with a pitch change) is the exact SFX for the answer reveal. Thanks mech! millionairefan28 ~ Hey! I have been looking for a YouTube downloader ever since I started making videos for my classes. Thanks a million!
