I haven't seen an official millionaire primetime game in a while and i just recently searched the internet for it.

It's about time they updated it, I was personally getting tired of their old game.

The old game is definitely a classic, but I'm glad they made a new game for the updated format. I always thought it was strange that they never made a new game for the clock format.

The producers have given themselves some wiggle room for prizes this year.

I wonder what type of other prizes they are going to offer. A vacation package? Furniture? A umm.. something? My guess is we'll be seeing this rule come into play for specialty weeks like a one year subscription to Netflix for MDM Week, or a set of wedding rings during PTPFYW Week.

Non-cash prizes

From time to time, in its sole discretion, the Producer may supplement one of the cash prize dollar values with a non-cash prize. If a Contestant correctly answers a question with a non-cash prize attached, the money is added to the Contestant's Bank, and they also receive the non-cash prize. Any non-cash prize earned by the Contestant would be theirs to keep, and would not be forfeited in the event the Contestant answers a subsequent question incorrectly. The money added to the Contestant's Bank would be treated like any other money in the Bank. An incorrect answer to a question with a non-cash prize attached would be treated the same as any other question, as described in these rules.

That sounds interesting but I only see small prizes. Like netflix subscriptions, not anything big like i dunno...a car...hint hint.

Can you imagine if it was a car? It would be pretty funny if it popped on the very first question and it was worth $25,000 as well. "Yeah, I'll walk with my $12,500 + $22,000 car. Have a nice day, suckers."

I'd put good money down that we'll see something like wedding cakes, dresses or rings during PTPFYW Week though!

Edit: On another funny note, I'd just like to point out that every time "the producer" is mentioned in the official rules of the game, s/he is referred to as "it."

That's great, it was really needed. It just wasn't dramatic enough.

And the prize thing is very interesting, I could easily see prizes becoming much more used than anything else, which would really make the show entertaining! Not only do you have your cash prize on your shoulders, you have something that could be a high value!
