What do you believe is the most historic Who Wants to Be a Millionaire moment? Either in the US or outside of it.
I believe that it was when Robert Essig or "Bobbo" was playing. And if I had to pick the most historic part of that, it was when he won the $1 Million Dollar Question and everybody was cheering "Bobbo, Bobbo!" I probably will never forget that, he made the show fun, heart-pounding, and somebody I wish won the $10 Million Dollar Jackpot!

I'd say that the most historic moment would have to be John Carpenter's million dollar win. Following that, I'd say the million dollar loss on the 10th Anniversary finale.
After those two moments, Bob-O's million dollar win on Super Millionaire definitely makes the list. That was a really exciting moment.

John Carpenter's million-dollar win was the most historically important. He was the first Millionaire winner ever!

You both sound right, I guess I could say that John Carpenter's million-dollar win was the most important, but I think that Bobbo's win was very entertaining!

And the Great Million Dollar Tragedy (as I prefer to call it) was the most upsetting.

You are definitely right. They both are up there.
If I had to have a rundown of my personal list of the top 5 most historic moments, they'd be...
1. John Carpenter's Million Dollar Win 2. Kevin Basin's Million Dollar Loss 3. Bob-O's Million Dollar Win 4. Kevin Smith's Million Dollar Win 5. Alan Carver Being a Contestant
I put Bob-O's Million Dollar Win before Kevin Smith's Million Dollar Win because Bob-O is what the franchise needed, an entertaining guy, that made you want to know what would happen next. This is a matter of personal choice, but this is what I think.

For me I can't really choose what would be my top, for me it is a toss up between John Carpenter's win and Kevin Smith's win. I did love Bob-O though, he really was very entertaining like it has been said. It was one of those moments that was pretty cool.

I would prefer Joe Trela's Million Dollar win as the most historic--it occured the day before my 17th birthday and I watched it that day, and was unbelievably surprised that he got through the entire upper tier after using his lifelines on the lower and middle tiers.
