From IGN: Eidos is resurrecting its Who Wants to be a Millionaire license and promises to inject new life into the tried-and-tested game show format by introducing a cast of crazy characters, new game modes and a fleshed-out multiplayer game.
Penciled for release in December on PS2 and PC, Millionaire fans will breathe a sigh of relief because the traditional quiz show - answer 15 questions to win a million - remains intact, although there's now the option to choose your on-screen contestant and play with the Buzz! controllers (on PS2, obviously). The authentic WWTBAM experience is further heightened by the return of Chris Tarrant (well, his voice, anyway) and all-new questions, which have been penned by the same brain boxes who compile them for the TV show. -------------------------------------------
Great news! We need a new WWTBAM game. The article says that it will be released on CD-ROM, which, I believe, are region free. This means those of us outside the UK might be able to play the game!

I heard this too Regisfan! You know, I think "Millionaire" is slowly rolling back into the ratings world this year! With the new owners, increased viewership in the U.S., and now a new UK game, the only way to go now is up!

Well, I don't know how WWTBAM is doing in Europe, but if the new game is any indication than it must be doing well. As for the U.S., ratings are skyrocketing from Meredith's "Today" exposure. Maybe we'll get a new game in the U.S. as well!
