Since the earliest day, the 2nd Pilot of Millionaire, Chris Tarrant often step out the studio, and walk into the center(where Hot Seats and monitors normally placed) to host until he introducing FFF players on that night, where we can see him stand at the entrance. For example, this from the DVD game intro:
And most of the international host later did the same thing when their version premiered, step into the middle section:
But then, they might found out that bringing out the monitors and then removed it probably is a pain. I'm not sure if it's a thing, but I think that's the reason, that they left the monitor on the show and the host later stop on the entrance, where he/she normally host the rest of that show.
In UK, sometime Chris stepped in and sit on his seat immediately. That's also begin a trend where now, hosts and producing team don't need to begin the show in a guideline, they sometime can do different way to begin a show. But many versions still do it in classic way, camera panned in and out on the set and focus on host's entrance as he/she came out.
Few questions I want to ask:
1: Nowadays, is anyone still walk out in traditional way and ended up in the center? I know that there's Hubert Urbański still do it in Poland tho.
2: Back then, anyone did the same thing, other than 6 versions I have above, btw?
3: I will assumed that the monitor thing I mentioned above is just my theory. For you guys, why would they removed the classic entrance sequence? Note that my theory could be wrong, in version like Vietnam, the host also not step in center of the stage, and there was no monitor placed on it.
