ray I didn't think we would be given the opportunity to talk to the composer of the music we all appreciate so much! Thank you for sharing your music with us and valuable information about the behind the scenes of its creation. As much bad press and hate as the Rave (or, if I recall correctly, “High Voltage”?) soundtrack gets, it’s always a valuable insight to have when the composer participates in a chat like this. I’m extremely grateful for the detailed and thoughtful answers.
I’ll be honest - I don’t share the enthusiasm about Q1-5 bed. I think it’s the weakest of the package. The unused test variants are pretty cool, though, and I think I prefer one or two of them to the actual final version.
Regardless, some amazing nuggets. The Q16 test bed with a different bass line is really cool, and that last “not for TV” track is surprisingly catchy. Thank you again for your time!
