Some of the hosts, to me, don't seem to engage with the game and contestants. For me, Jimmy Kimmel is a prime example of this, as I have the impression this guy sees this show as just another show, another contract, another job. However, I absolutely adore and admire the hosts that genuinely seem engaged with the contestant; they're rooting for them. They experience the same goosebumps or dread whenever the stakes and money level gets higher. They're always cracking up jokes, making the audience and contestant really just, laugh, to lower the intensity. (especially the contestant's stress) I can especially see this whenever a contestant answers the last question and wins the top prize, and the host gets the same excitement and adrenaline they do: imgur.com/a/OLQa1rp (I cannot attach images, whoop-) Anyways, enough with my long blabbering and feelings. What is your favourite host on WWTBAM worldwide?

Jeremy Maggs reaction when he reveals the answer to R1,000,000 is strong, sincerely .Coming back to the question, I think for some people their favorite animators are the ones they got to know first. For me it will always be Jean-Pierre Foucault. Because Foucault has kindness, empathy, humour, advice, the stature of a man of respect. What differentiates with Chris Tarrant (whom I also like) is that he is always serious, even when he tries to de-stress the contestant and make the public smile. Now if I see hosts of other versions who would be for me the equivalent of Foucault on all that I have just said, I think that the Ecuadorian host Alfonso Espinosa de los Monteros and the first host of the Portuguese version Carlos Cruz are the equivalent of the French animator.
My favorite foreign animator for me is Dmitry Dibrov at the time of О, счастливчик!. He is for me a guy who had energy and who tried his best to entertain the spectators and the contestants, he was interested in the contestants on their journey until they reached the hot seat. It's a pity that the Russian production didn't take over Dibrov in 2003 after he arrived on ORT and replace Galkin (who for me is not very good at this place), since then they made the mistake that has meant that Dibrov since 2012 or even 2008 is not very effective and unfortunately has had disappointing results.

What about the very first, Chris Tarrant of the UK? I love his catchphrases and the excitement he has once a contestant has won anything more than £4,000/£5,000. France's Jean-Pierre Foucault and Poland's Hubert Urbanski. But, for suspense, no one is better than Monta Mino (Japan) or Don Francisco (Chile)
