Decided to let myself experiment a bit with SketchUp... The set I'm currently working on is not really based on any particular version, but just seeing what I can come up with. I tend to get a bit tired of working on a particular set for a long time, so I like to give myself some flexibility to keep myself ticking As always, very amazing and impressive work! Keep it up my friend!!

Been a little while Decided to come back to SketchUp for a bit, managed to get the Fastest Finger wall/barrier on both sides, well the main foundation for that is there anyway. Also managed to get the audience bleachers on both sides, the rear bleachers haven't been determined yet. Still got a lot to work on, but I'll get to that when I feel like working on SketchUp again.

Heyo, haven't really worked on this set much, due to other projects and stuff. However, I have been working on this set recently, and have a few updates! I've updated the pillars, made them a bit longer, the curved LED strips on the floor now have the '2 tones' that the set IRL does, the audience bleachers had to be modified by making them longer, to accomodate for the new pillars. I'll probably be back again in a couple of months... Or maybe sooner? We'll have to find out if I work on this more, after the break... Don't go away! xD

More updates! Added the ramp that goes onto the video floor panels. Chairs by Lucas Design Associates on SketchUp 3D Warehouse.

I tell myself that the version which is closest to the original version concerning the 1998-2001 set is still the French version: 4 light spots up there, two light spots on the top of the entrance and one at the bottom of the entrance, a spot located on the poles where the contestant exits, a spot located towards the poles where the crane camera (if I'm not mistaken) does the entrance cutscene of the show. Same colors on the board: blue during all the questions with an orange color on the luminous floor (for the British version it is during the first 5 questions since the 4th series), but also the monitor which looks a little like the one that had the UK version if we exclude the computer and the fact that there was a small money box for it). Furthermore, I realized that the patterns on the luminous floor look rather Mediterranean, at least when I go on vacation I often see this kind of pattern on the floor. Honestly it's a great job to reproduce the original set Jayden, well done to you

HUGE UPDATES! Since my last update on this thread, I've done a brand new rebuild of my remake of the UK '98 set. I've also housed the new remake in a brand new building I recreated as well! You may know that Millionaire was filmed at Elstree Studios in Stage 9 for Series 3, March 1999 all the way up until sometime in 2011 where they moved to BBC Television Centre to film some shows there, Celeb Specials and The People Play... They would alternate between Elstree, Television Centre and occasionally George Lucas Stage at Elstree.
When BBC Televsion Centre closed down on 31 March 2013, Millionaire moved back to its home at Elstree's Stage 9, where it remained until the end of its original run in February 2014.
(Fun fact: The shows that went out in February 2014, were recorded in December 2013.)
HERE'S SOME NEW PICS!
That's all for now!

This is great! The realism of the entire studio space (even the parts you wouldn’t see on camera) adds so much authenticity.
