Hi all, Here's a new thread to discuss some of the worst money trees, top prizes, graphics, sets, and any other aspects, of international Millionaire. I'll start by saying that the weirdest money trees are probably Angola and Vietnam (Q5 for Kz. 6,000?/Q11 for 22,000,000?). Bye.

Well, when it comes to Poland, we have a lot of confusingly arranged questions (e.g. the last winner's questions for 500k and a million or giving hard questions from the very beginning for game show veterans), not only that, but also lots of unnecessary political questions and questionable montage of the episodes. Furthermore, 21 minutes of an episode (not counting the commercial break) is too short for WWTBAM. Ok, that's it from my rant.

Short correction:Q10 is 22,000,000 while Q11 is 30,000,000 , also i think Finland money tree is weird

Greek Hot Seat version(2014-2016) was pretty crappy too. Question difficulty escalation was nonsense. For example you could face unexplainably hard questions before Q5, and piece-of-cake questions on higher steps of the money ladder (e.g. Q8 or Q9).I think that they did this on purpose so the players "burn" their pass early and remain helpless for the most of their run.
Lighting in the studio was too strong and there were brightly colored red, green and purple lights that didn't mix well with the whole show's atmosphere.
The host, who is a famous greek comedian was pretty fun but he often had trouble reading the questions correctly especially when they contained non-greek words.
Right-answer musical scores weren't used. Instead they used the "who was correct on fastest finger first" musical score for every correct answer.
They had also modified the rules. In order to win even the guaranteed Q5 prize, the last remaining player had to manage to get to Q10.If he lost on Q9,he would go home empty-handed.So the so-called "guaranteed" €500 prize wasn't guaranteed at all.

The FFF reveal cue is standard for Hot Seat correct answers. At least it wasn't Russia 2010, where the first five questions had no cue at all, making the programme seem rather boring.

Just recently found this gem, an almost definitely unlicensed version of Millionaire from Kyrgyzstan. Everything about it screams unlicensed: the titles which makes me think of one of Shams Production's attempts from 2014, the use of the club remix for Introduce the Contestants (also used in Iran for the break bumper, which was also unlicensed), and the fact that when someone gets the answer wrong, the chosen answer becomes red instead of staying orange. Also, just look at the hilarious attempts for the lifeline graphics, even the lifelines in action (esp. Phone a Friend) are a right lark!

Yes, I've watched Barande Bash... it's OK (at least it's better than Millioner Bolgung Kelebi). I believe that lights-down-cue problem happened in Cambodia as well, not to mention the final answer cue for Q6 and Q11 playing for Q1-5 final answers (also happened in Spain 2020 and KBC Hindi 2010). And I don't think Mohamed Reza Golzar shouts too much... the shoutiest is probably the Ivory Coast's Yves Zogbo Jr!

I remember a probably local Bengali version (not the official Bangladesh version) that had some of the rave music, but I think with a weird time ticking sound effect, and the cash prize was... unknown. Really I don't remember a whole much about it, though I saw it back in 2018 on some random channel on Sky.
probably just some small thing the channel did for fun. idk.
In terms of money trees I'd say the Ecuadorian version's money tree is pretty weird, and I think that version used USD as a basis, sucks they could only go up to $25,000 or $50,000 for the top prize. $3000 for the 10th where the top prize is $25,000? The 5th is $200.

The 5th is $200. Do you mean the "metronome" clock sound effect? It was in pretty common use in India at the time, as well as being used in Turkey and Egypt. What do you mean by an unknown top prize? Do you mean Shuffle-style?

Yeah I think it was something like the metronome stuff India uses. And by unkown I mean I don't remember what the top prize was, or any of the values.
And before you ask I would also like to say it is not the Bengali version in India

And before you ask I would also like to say it is not the Bengali version in India Oh. Must have been a parody of some sort. And the Ecuadorian money tree is pretty similar to Albania's second one, as the top prize was also the same (in euros and in dollars), it makes sense I guess.

BTW,I've always wondered why prizes in albanian version were in euros and not lek, which is their official currency
