I was very nervous when I heard the news. I must admit, he (and his father, Keith) is a really talented man. It's hard to imagine what WWTBAM music would be like if they weren't the first to write them.

This is so incredibly sad. 50 is way too young.
The Millionaire theme is probably the most heard TV theme in the world. Versions of WWTBAM have been on the air in nearly 180 countries. In many places his music has been heard weekly for over 20 years. That's quite a testament to his incredible talent.

A very sad news. "Millionnaire" is his legacy (and Keith's one too) but his work was much more than this.

At first when I learned that, I didn't believe it, even 10 minutes later I didn't even believe it in fact. I fell naked, I didn't know how to take this news ... I, who listens every day to his music that he has made with his father since I was 2 years old, I know that in my head hearing this music again after that will give me a feeling of going further in the sky.

Matthew (and his father Keith) created some of the best tracks ever used on a game show. Those tracks can be heard on many foreign versions of Millionaire worldwide, a testament to his skills. RIP

I've been gobsmacked. He left a legacy of being the man who create the soundtrack of the biggest game show in the world. RIP

Mr. Strachan was incredibly talented. His music plays a huge role in the enduring success of Millionaire. He was also kind to his fans, as some in this community can attest.
