I feel like ever since the premiere of Millionaire back in '99 we haven't gotten a actual millionaire game that is actually like the show especially with the stage, music, host portrayal (Voice-Over not being monotone), etc. The only time that this has basically been portrayed the best way was the Regis Philbin DVD games with the different editions (Kids, Sports, Regular). The stage may not have been there in the best way graphics wise and the music wasn't the exact same but it did have Regis in physical and voice-over forms.
What I personally want (and probably all of us want as well) is a modern, up-to-date WWTBAM game where it's exactly like the actual show. I also think it could incorporate different modes with each game format (I know that clock and shuffle are mostly hated, but games need to have a variety to keep people invested.) as well as adding a multiplayer competitive mode! The music is literally a copy & paste from the different formats (Which every game has gotten somewhat wrong in the past for some stupid reason!).
This is literally what all of us have been wanting for years! I hope that one studio can pick this idea up and recreate it in the best, most realistic way. I'm just hoping that EA or Ludia doesn't get the rights to this...
What do you think? Will we ever be getting this kind of Millionaire Game?

Back then the show was listed alot more on "Follow THIS format unless we need cultural changes" so back in the day it was alot "easier" as such similar to how AUS got told off for their logo and 11Q money tree. which is just one thing I think you forgot to account for in this. I'd be happier with microids game if I could just mute voice overs and subtitles quite happy with silent stuff haha.

If I’m gonna be honest, the Apple TV/Mac OS game is really what we were looking for. It doesn’t have the host portrayal, but what we want and need is actually there. I suggest checking that out.

I think any of the developers could ask a fan what a game should have and it would be easy to develop. I have the steam special edition Millionaire and I see a new game is out in the past year or so by Microïds. Seems like they miss the mark in all the small areas that total the overall experience. I think the music is fine. The new game it seems answering takes too long (which would be ok if there was any anticipation- but there is none, no music cues, etc). I've looked high and low for a game that had more lifelines. You could develop a non-timed version and a timed version. The graphics are terrible on those two recent games, with an emphasis on building a character. I'd rather see more gameplay. I think it's about building a fun overall experience and getting all of the production values. All tv trivia games should focus on getting it close to the actual gameshow...light and music cues...all the little things as I mentioned.

For me, the First Edition CDROM game was the best we got. All the music was spot on, the graphics weren't terrible, and each question had its own Phone a Friend conversation. Subsequent editions seemed to strip away little bits of authenticity.
