As promised, some screenshots for the sequel to the pub quiz game. Now as I'm a busy fellow, I only managed to get a few out, but I'm sure I can get some more when I get the chance. The menu screen. Here, the logo isn't obscured by a large coin, but it works in pretty much the same way. The rules screen - gives a brief overview of the game before you. Again, the game features the host, Chris Tarrant, who as always guides you throughout the game. The Fastest Finger round is almost completely new! You only have 10 seconds to put the answers in order... And then, depending on how much of the solution you got right, you get the lifelines - or rather, the more that's right, the more lifelines you get. The question screen. As always, the money tree can change each time you play, so it might be a good or bad game. The Ask the Audience lifeline. The four bars pile up as the audience votes this time. More screenshots later!

That's really cool!
I'm still confused as to how you're playing the game on your PC. You're really lucky to have that game! Thanks for sharing!

Ohhhh, okay, so you're getting these game programs directly for the PC. I was under the impression that you were getting the actual game machines and somehow playing the game on your PC.
Still, very cool.

Well, since I haven't completed this scrapbook yet, I decided I should humour. I switched a few elements in the game folder around, and added a few things from the old game in, and a few other things (I even put in the Clock Format music!). The result is something like this: And there's a lot more to it!

So four years after these screenshots were first posted, I've now had a chance to look at the Tournament version of the game. These tournament games pit players playing on different terminals around the country against each other for larger cash prizes than the stand-alone games. The national high score tables are reportedly updated in real time. The menu screen is slightly different this time, and accommodates two new buttons at the top of the screen. Rules screen. Before the game begins, the cashpot is adjusted slightly, along with the score needed to claim it. That is, the cashpot goes up, while the score goes down. This version has a welcome sequence filmed specifically for it. The Fastest Finger round is played out like normal. Now here's where the game gets an overhaul. You'll be asked all 15 questions on the money ladder, regardless of whether you get any of them wrong. For every correct answer, you'll win the point value as well as a time bonus (on the left), which starts at 15000 and decreases after each question until it's just 1000 for the final. The values highlighted red on the tree are Multiplier questions; answering these correctly multiplies the time bonus by any number between 2 and 5. As indicated here. The Phone-A-Friend lifeline. (Note the typo in "Choose YOU Friend Now".) After question 3, you can choose to bail out with whatever score you have at that point. Of course, with the high score so high, why would you want to? After the 15 questions have been asked, you are presented with your final score. It might be good enough for the high score tables, anyway! The local high scores are basically the scores on this particular machine. The national leaderboard is something else again. Not sure how it works, but no matter. And again, I'm trying to work out how to get the 2008 version working, but I dunno... I reckon my copy's bricked.
