Not sure if this has been done on this forum before, but I've made a collage of the faces of every millionaire from the American, British, and Australian versions (including Hot Seat) the moment they were told they've won the big one. It's rather interesting to see the different emotions the different winners exhibit in that moment, from disbelief (Dan Blonsky, David Edwards, and Kevin Smith) to "processing" (Bob House and Martin Flood) to that exhale of relief (Kim Hunt and Pat Gibson) to sheer excitement (Bernie Cullen, Nancy Christy, and Edwin Daly). Feel free to add your own pictures of other top prize winners from other versions in this thread. (Disclaimer: I've never claimed to be a great artist in any medium by any means. I know the collage isn't evenly proportioned or anything like that. That's mainly due to the closeness of the camera at the time the winners were told they've won resulting in different head sizes. I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.)

Great idea!
Doug Van Gundy still takes the cake, and he didn’t even win the top prize!

Great idea! Doug Van Gundy still takes the cake, and he didn’t even win the top prize! Doug's faces were great (one of my more favorite contestants in general, by the way). I'll just say that if memes were a thing in 1999, all of his faces as he was climbing up the top third of the money tree (and especially after the Iditarod question for a quarter mil, I believe) definitely would've been memed. I'd just like to add to this thread, as an interesting case study, Ingram Wilcox (the sixth and thus far most recent UK Millionaire winner and probably my most favorite contestant ever in any version of the show), who essentially kept the same face (with ever so slight changes) despite going from £100 to £500,000 (although I think at £500,000, the glee is much more apparent). For example, his £200, £16,000, and £32,000 faces are all the same. Feel free to find your own matches. To build on your example, I'd also like to present to you Simon Curtis, whose (not so much his face, but his) reaction to winning a quarter mil is quite... fantastic. I think it's how I'd react if I were to win a quarter million. It's almost up there with Ogi Ogas's reaction to winning a half million on Syndie Millionaire.

There’s a great clip of the Simon Curtis run, where there’s a hilarious reaction to the Klaxon going off after the quarter of a million question
