Yeah, I'd like to know what about countries that don't have their versions (Poland, Russia, Hungary etc.), cause there wouldn't be a cover for a PC version of the game and that's the platform I'd consider getting the game.

Personally, I think the new game looks alright, I just hope that I could change the language in the game, because I really don't want to buy the English AND the German versions of the game... So do I.

Let’s keep a cool head when discussing any aspect of Millionaire. If u say so... Okay, but this will be the last time that I speak about this game on RF. If some of you, here, thinks that I have been rude, mainly with Microids... Certainly yes, but I have not so much remorses... And this is what I can actually think: 1.
I'm playing a game, generally for his graphics... I know, this isn't an AAA --- big budget game but still... When I know, there's certainly some indies who are maybe more talented to do some reproductions compared to what Microids done... do they have watched a single show of Millionaire? I doubt...Plus... we're absolutely at the same level of the last game developped by Doublesix and edited by Deep Silver back in 2012, not so much progression since... I start to think that Millionaire games were better in late 90's/early 00's... sadly, that's the truth. Or it must remain in DVD versions or Board games.
2. "WWTBAM Battle Royale"... Ooooh yeah sure ! Is that a Fortnite's edition ? An 1vs100 edit--- Oh wait...
Why? Just why include a Battle Royale Mode? What's the point? Are we playing Millionaire or 1vs100 here? Both combined? Sorry, I still don't get it... In this case, just revive 1vs100 and that's it. Since when we are against 99 other players in Millionaire? Challenging is not a bad idea, but please... I think that's a bit too much here..
3. Microids already done a based TV Show game, last year... Fort Boyard (their 1st edition), u know... Which this one was nearly a total failure... A poor lifetime, meaning that there wasn't so much trials (12 !), a game could ended up in only 30 mn. Judged maybe a bit too easy, even some reviews had some pleasure to trolling (a bit) this game. 4. Speaking of lifetime... 3 000 Questions... I don't know how much questions were included to the last one, but in a certain time, it was so much repetitive, the reason why they've certainly added few DLCs to it. So, obviously, at a certain point, you will answer at a familair question, asked xxx games ago. (At least, that's the same situation for Millionaire video games, DVDs and Board games). But still... these kind of games, generally have a bad/avg. lifetime. You can at least, collecting them. And maybe so many more... That I won't list it... I don't want to be the author of a possible riot, but this is my POV and nobody can counter it. If US fans survived Shuffle Millionaire, we can all survive this video game. Not really sure if you can compare a video game with a Millionaire format who have already existed... But... Even the Shuffle version was better...
Hoping that my message has been well received, now... If still not... Well, I will have nothing to add. Period.

@millichris, your POV is always welcome and your most recent post will be received just fine. As long as the thread remains civil, we will be accepting of all opinions. Recent history suggests this game won’t be great, but it never hurts to hope for something better. If the game turns out awful, I don’t think anyone here will be pulling their punches. Personally, I’ve already accepted that the graphics will be average at best. If they get the music right and the gameplay is decent, I’d be pleased. One thing I think we can all agree on is that a lot of heart and soul went into the very first batch of games in 2000. Sadly, I fear we will never see that again.

Looks like the game is coming out tomorrow; I'm going to buy it and I'll give you my impressions when I've played a bit of it.

This game is a joke... Shame on my country cuz' Microids is a french company. I've partially saw some sneak peeks of Fort Boyard... doesn't worth his price. So It's certain that I will NOT spend my money for this Millionaire game, for sure. Since the beginning, I was sceptical and not really convinced by this game: Uh... exactly what is the problem here?

When will he really ever learn? RegisFan is right to say that those screenshots aren't deserving. For me, I don't care how much I will waste my money on that game, but if there's anything bad about Microids spending years creating that, as RegisFan said, I will wait to pass judgment until I play it.

A small intro clip was posted to the Steam page, but it's Wer wird Millionär?, there is no music (even though there is pauses for music), and it's still the French set: store.steampowered.com/app/1356240/Who_Wants_To_Be_A_Millionaire/I assume that maybe they had an actual promo video that was suppose to go live (Steam still says releasing in 18 hours), but instead just sent this early clip live. Lots of info has been updated in it's SteamDB entry before tomorrow's release: steamdb.info/app/1356240/info/

What's going on, why haven't they released it yet?

I think that might be a mistake and is intended to be released on the 29th, along with the consoles

So, I was able to shenanigan my way into a download copy from the UK on my Xbox. Some thoughts: - Sets/Internationalization - The Different "Sets" are just different floor and light patterns on the single rendered French set. They did do a good job of matching the graphics/Money Tree and have dedicated intros for each country specific game. Every game is subject to the clock. You only have to buy one game, it includes all "versions".
- Music - It's the 2007 Rave package, through and through. No customization for non-rave countries. All the Rave music *seems* correct, but not having the US/UK "versions" use the proper classic music is a real bummer. They failed us here.
- Voiceover - Just atrocious. They slow the game down and are just major cringe. The idea is that there's multiple "contestants" to choose from, but the VO work is just awful.
- Question Packs - I like that they included free unlockable question packs you get for just playing the game.
It's not worth the asking price - and it's the most frustrating thing. Why go through all the effort to swap graphics for each country, and different lighting patterns - but not the region specific MUSIC? Argh.

PC version released late last night. It's a standard Unity engine game, so easy to investigate the files.
Yes, there's a single set of music and it's the entirety of the rave soundtrack, including question specific lock and lose music. I'm impressed with the detail here to include most of the soundtrack. It's just too bad they didn't do the classic question cues (for US/UK) along with the 2007 cues for the other countries.
Because it's Unity, it looks easy to do a music mod, just swap out the files in the respective bundle. Looking into this.

I don't know why, but only the original games, it seems, got it right.
