I know that Michael Davies has made it known that he wants to have a run of civilians play Millionaire. Should that happen once the pandemic is over, do you think Fastest Finger will make a return, and will it be with 10 players again?

Should it happen? Absolutely. I love Millionaire with all my heart. It's my favorite game show of all time. There's no show I'd rather go on, game show or otherwise. I've done studying through the years, and I have renewed my studying of general knowledge every single day just in case civilian Millionaire comes back on. I was never old enough to sit in the hot seat during the Regis days or even during the 10th Anniversary Special. Now I am. Besides, some people prefer watching civilians play to watching celebrities in the hot seat.
Whether fastest finger will return or not, I don't know. I think it very well could happen. It always has happened with prime time and ABC, though not the case for syndicated Millionaire. I think we would see the fastest finger. It would be unprecedented otherwise. I doubt they'd take after UK Millionaire circa 2010 with the clock and no more fastest finger.
Will here be 10 contestants? I can see this being reduced, actually. Britain does only six fastest finger contestants per episode, possibly to save on costs and accommodations, while Hooman Vajdani in Austria won the top prize back in 2018 and by that point, the number of fastest finger contestants had been reduced to five. After all, America has taken after some things that the UK reboot is doing, such as Ask the Host and the Studio design.
So, while I cannot say for sure there will be 10 fastest finger contestants, I wouldn't be surprised if there were less than 10 per episode.
