simple. it mostly uses the original phone call. but there might be some shows and maybe one of the formats that uses the other. you might know this but in the meantime i am starting to have too many threads that i eventually am getting as always my mod status removed and then i will be judged by the staffs before being kicked.

Well, well, it seems that you yourself are begging for a ban.

It's kinda simple. You've got the bit where Tarrant or Philbin or whoever speaks to the "friend", because the host has an unlimited call time here and ITV/ABC will play the music until Tarrant says "... and time starts now" and then you've got the 30-second countdown music (which actually lasts 31 seconds).
The Strachans made it 2m 31s so that the director could play the music on loop if needed.

Ah, sorry - my mistake. The actual call backing lasts for 2:59, but could be played on loop if necessary. It shouldn't need to be longer than 2:31, but just in case (i.e. the friend doesn't pick up, the phone lines go off or something), it lasts for a long time.

The version I have, that has an actual "ending," (if you can call it that), is 4:06. That makes more sense for actually calling and getting someone on the line. All of the question cues, win cues, final answer cues, lights down cues are actually quite a bit longer than what was on the album (obviously) and have legitimate "endings." ATA bed, voting, PAF call, etc, they all have legitimate "endings" as well. For example, the album had the question 10 bed at 2:40 but the "full" version (if you will) is 3:03.

What do you mean by "legitimate ending"? Is there something different at the end of it?

Instead of the cue just stopping, there's a legitimate "ending" to the cue. I don't know how else to explain it.

I would be more inclined to do so in Fan Games but even that's a slim to nothing chance. Certainly not publicly LOL
