Just recently, I've received one of the keypads used on the WWTBAM Play It attraction, and was so pleased to receive on of the rare pieces of Millionaire history. Having letting curiousity getting the better for me, I decided to take apart the keypad used on "Millionaire Play It" and I have learned a little bit more of circuit board. It seems like the keypad is a membrane switch, which has 4 buttons (possible tactile, and has a click to it) and 2 crimpflex female connectors. The white seems to power up the LEDs (above A, B, C, D buttons) and the green connect to each button. However, there is a 5 strip of copper/silver strip. Another is that the 2 crimpflex connectors connect to 2 male connectors on a small unit (encased in black plastic), which has a female (possibly RJ11 or RJ12) 6pin port, to which I need to look into further. I have contacted the manufacturer, Eastprint for more info regarding the keypads, and hoping to learn more on the matter. If you have any info that would help me out, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for posting this! It’s cool to see an up-close view of the keypad and it’s innards!
These keypads used to be all over eBay shortly after the ride was decommissioned. I really wish I’d bought one at the time.

Wow, I remember walking onto Play It when I was in Florida in 2001 and was so excited. I remember everyone played FFF, had watched the show for years but to see the game played live was some experience.

The keypads are cool. Sometimes you can still find one pop up on eBay. Did the company that made them ever respond to you?
I have one of the original Fastest Finger chairs from the Play It! Attraction. I always wondered if it was worth anything now. But, I am just glad to own it.
