A different thread discussed about what format should be used if Super Millionaire returned. My thoughts on the matter would be what would the Millionaire fan community would think if Super Millionare returned in clocked format. I personally think that this would be an interesting idea since the clock was known for introducing suspense in the game and having that suspense in a game with a high amount of $10 million would spice things up significantly. In addition, if the clock were to be implemented in Super Millionaire, I think that it should only apply for the firs ten questions. Once the person reaches the next dimension of the game, there should be no more clock so that the contestant can focus more on the question.
I really like the idea of a clocked Super Millionaire since it would add more pressure and suspense for the audience at home. This is my question. Would you think that a clocked Super Millionaire is a good idea? If so, do you think the clock should be present for the first questions or all 15 questions? Let me know what you think in the comments.

It's similar to what the UK did in theur final years before 2014. Clock for the first 7, final 5 no clock

I heard of the clock format in the UK version of WWTBAM. It was more reasonable, but I did not like the graphics the clock used. I prefer the clock graphics used in the US from 2008 to 2010. But that is just me.

I completely agree. The UK is just so... meh compared to US. And they just took the graphics from the Phone-a-Friend timer and just doubled the size... It's not Bad, as the name claims it is, it's just... well, BIG. That's what I think about the Big Bad Clock.

I'd do so, but it'll be 30 seconds for the first 2 questions, then a full minute (60 seconds) from the 3rd to the 7th question, from the 8th to the grand-prize 12th question, clock's disabled and 2 or 3 extra lifelines will be added.
Expected money tree (any money currency applies, dollars will be used as an example):
#12 (Grand Prize): $10,000,000 #11: $5,000,000 #10: $2,500,000 #9: $1,500,000 #8: $750,000 #7 (The 2nd Safe-Heaven, here the clock will be disabled once answered correctly, adding the lifelines I said): $500,000 #6: $250,000 #5: $150,000 #4: $50,000 #3: $20,000 #2: (The 1st Safe-Heaven, once passed, the time required for answering the next 5 questions will be doubled to 60 seconds instead of just 30): $10,000 #1 (Beginning, with 30 seconds on this and the 2nd question): $5,000
And, as you realize, all money values are increased until the 9th question, the final 3 question are the same as the original version.
