I can't get the link to work, even when I go homophobic on it.
Now, I don't get wordfilters in general, but the ones replacing just one letter of a "bad word" must be the stupidest ones of them all. Everyone knows what the word is and if someone doesn't, it takes about 5 seconds to find a definition and most likely a bunch of pictures to boot. Like an asterisk removes the offensiveness. Either obscure the word as a whole or don't even bother. And it's not like there aren't much worse things than an F-word that can be expressed using only "harmless" words.
Sorry, I just had to vent.

Turns out the sensitivity of the word filter is more customizable than I had originally realized. I made some tweaks. Please try to post the link again.

Fun fact, courtesy of "Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me!": the phenomenon of an innocent word getting censored because it has a dirty word inside it actually has a name. It's called the Scunthorpe Problem. If you have good eyes, you can see why. |
