Also, looking further at the ticket page, it says it will be filmed in Salford, so unfortunately won't be at Elstree. At least this means we'll get to see a new set, and I'm interested to see what they'll do with it.

Also - potential new lifeline: 'Ask the Host'...I came across some old UK promos where Tarrant has been saying that people can ask him for help. Nice callback to that, will be very interesting to see how Clarkson handles this. sounds like it'd be a really useful lifeline for any automobile-related questions. also, I'm really hoping this'll be good. feel like something needs to spark up the Millionaire franchise again, and this looks like a good way to do so |

Yeah, the initial ITV press release did say Manchester for filming, makes sense becaause except for news and a couple late night shows like Graham Norton needing London because of celeb access, everything TV production wise has been moving out to Manchester these last few years. Question is, clock or no clock? Strachan’s upload of his US 2008 (not the 10th Anniv) opening credits sans ticking suggests maybe not... and it just hit me that the US clock format is turning 10 now, surprising how it seems to have taken the UK a decade to properly adopt what they’ve done stateside (if they indeed go for Strachan’s 2.0 music package from the US clock era) |
