This Variety article gives some new information. One week of "anniversary specials", which sounds like "If it works, we'll bring it back properly, if it doesn't, we'll pretend like we never planned to revive it beyond this." And "new twists and turns", which were to be expected.

I'm not too keen on all this mystery surrounding the 'twists and turns'... Hopefully it's something really minor but I do hope it's not a massive format change that makes the show not worth watching.

Yeah, I agree. If the format received massive changes, this wouldn't exactly turn out to be something which symbolizes the show for what it used to be. But still, I'm kinda looking forward to see what changes could be introduced when the show premieres once more. Also - I wonder if these changes could actually be based on previous formats of WWTBAM (ex. PAF change in UK Clock).

Even if only for nostalgia’s sake the producer’s should create a version true to the original. An anniversary is not worth organizing if you do not celebrate what used to be.

If Millionaire returns to its homeland, I hope we fix its godawful format. It looks like we're stuck in 2007. How embarrassing.

Hey folks! Been a while...the Clarkson revival announcement got me to dig into this all over again Anyway some potential cool news, Matthew Strachan has been uploading some of his US clock format cues to his SoundCloud with notes to producers, which seems to suggest they're going to (at least in terms of score) adopt that fantastic music package and do away with the rave stuff. Only seems right for the 20th Anniversary if you ask me. soundcloud.com/strachansongs/tracksAlso - potential new lifeline: 'Ask the Host'...I came across some old UK promos where Tarrant has been saying that people can ask him for help. Nice callback to that, will be very interesting to see how Clarkson handles this. EDIT: also, filming dates 26th April and 3rd – 6th May. Ticket applications at lostintv.com/tv-show?id=958

That's making me very hopeful that this will certainly be worth watching. (Even if it's crap I'm still gonna watch every episode but at least I'll enjoy it more) Also, from the ticket application page thing, there's this logo which I don't think we've seen before: I very much hope they use this. It's nothing too different, and the only major changes are the new text and the added 3D detail, which I for one really like.

Well, didn't have.. I do now

FinalAnswer19, both opening title tracks were new variations on the ones in my collection. I'm very excited to hear new versions of those cues! It's great that Matthew Strachan has at least been approached about returning for the revival. The notes about "Ask the Host" are also quite interesting! Great find, antovolk! millionaireloveruk, the new logo looks great! I'm glad they aren't simply reusing the previous logo like some of the early promotional materials seemed to indicate.
