Cut the question seems to be a useful lifeline. I've seen contestants get 1 or 2 questions higher because of it. How do you feel about keeping it for regular Millionaire and not just themed episodes? Do you like the lifeline?

I actually really like the idea and gameplay of the lifeline, but the lifeline picture and animation seem way too clunky to me. The way the lifeline looks image wise actually somewhat irritates me as it looks very amateur-ish, something not synonymous to any of the other lifelines in Millionaire.
Jump the Question (although its use was debated quite frequently) looked "nice" and professional at the very least. The other lifelines - ask the audience, 50:50, and many others from previous generations - are also like this in my opinion.
Since the icon looks kind of childish, I'd say that it should be kept for Whiz Kids series if it were to stay the same. If they changed the icon and made the transition look a little bit more smooth, it would be a great addition, possibly as a lifeline after the 5000 dollar threshold - similar to the Ask The Expert lifeline. It's a perfect idea if it were to keep the same rules as mentioned by Chris during the Whiz Kids weeks.
TL;DR: It's a perfect idea if it gets added later, and if the icon changes to look more professional.

Like for non-special editions of the show, they should use the arrows from the UK Millionaire, or that Q letter from 2006-2008 USA seasons.

Both Cut and Switch do have similar effects dropping the current question and replacing it. But with Cut The Question, there is a chance (as Chris Harrison puts it) that the incoming question will be significantly easier than the previous question. Hence why the lifeline can only be used up to and include Question 10 ($50,000).

I agree with kplewisvox. Not only that, the questions are also substantially easier, generally speaking.
