I feel that 256 characters is not enough for a shoutbox post.
Is it possible to increase the limit slightly or even eliminate the limit all together?

I don't mind the limit. If one post isn't enough, make a second one. Everything that's longer than two shoutbox posts probably merits its own thread. And if it doesn't, then why should you fill up the shoutbox with it?

Unfortunately, we can't increase the character limit. However, I agree with Gagamillionaire. Anything over 256 characters likely merits its own post on the boards. |
