Hello everybody. I am applying for fan game access. I don't create games but I can provide valuable feedback. (See retched's Millionaire Project Progress for an example)
If someone came up to me and said "Can you host this game show event?" , I would choose a game and PM the game creator and see if they allow the use. If it is just a private use (i.e. me giving one of my school friends a challenge) I will make sure I don't give the game to that person.
No matter what use a program gets, I will never give away the game to anybody. Giving away a game to a unapproved person is wrong. Fact.
If I fail to get access, that is ok. I will wait the required three months (June 1) if I need to.

First things first, you read the rules. Good start.
Still, I'm going to say no. About half of your posts are Daily Millionaire or RPG-related, and several more I didn't count are insubstantial.
Your audition is far from the worst we've had. You do contribute, I won't deny that, but it's not quite enough so I could say "yes" without hesitation. Just participate in discussions a little more and I won't object next time.

You know, sometimes I hate these kinds of auditions more than the ones which are just members who can't be bothered to read the rules... In my opinion, ausgameshowfan, you're so close to getting a yes! Another couple of weeks of decent contribution would have done it for me personally. But, you've had a no already, but I would have had to agree for the same reasons, a lot of your posts are in RPG's and Daily Millionaire. So, unfortunately, my answer is No, but keep contributing, and I'm sure you'll get in eventually.

I will abstain in this case. However I'd like to draw attention to this rule in the Audition Process:
If I'm reading this right, the three month waiting period only applies when an applicant has broken a rule. Is that correct? If that's the case, I don't see why aus would have to wait the three months.
If I'm not understanding this right, and the three-month wait does apply to all failed auditions, would the moderators consider waiving it if the two previous voters agreed to change their votes to abstentions? And if so, would those voters considering doing that?

The waiting period only applies when a rule has been broken. As far as I can tell, no rules have been broken in this case.

Regisfan: Thanks for correcting me. I thought if you failed for whatever reason (not just breaking site rules) I would need to wait 3 full calendar months. It still would be bad (in my opinion) if I auditioned again like next week. Based on this new information to me I will probably wait only 1 month or something close to that.

You are a very near yes vote (but not quite), however for all the same reasons the other FG members have said, I will abstain from giving a final verdict.

ausgameshowfan it is attainable. Keep your head up and you will likely make it sooner than later. Good luck. Locked.
