Problem with a user

I have sent a PM to RegisFan and FinalAnswer19 about this. Unfortunately they are not online at the moment so I will create a public thread of it.

2 hours ago, I was sent a PM by --deleted by staff--. Never heard of him? Well apparently he registers absolutely no posts.

The PM from --deleted by staff-- in full was this.

My first reaction was not to trust this person so i have not helped him yet.
I have a feeling what you are going to say but i will ask the question anyway.
Have I made the right decision here?

Looks like just a spammer. Ignore him, and pass it along to the mods. They'll take care of it.

Dude, you sent the PM to us 4 hours ago and only gave us 3 hours to respond before making this public.

And you know who the mods are because you hit us both up at the same time.

We do not live and breathe the site. We have jobs and a life outside of the internet, believe it or not. This is not a life and death matter so it's nothing you need to be frantic about.

We'll reply to your PM. We just don't want that kind of stuff public because if the member in question is someone who is trying to make a legitimate go of it here, we don't want his first impression of the site being negative.

I edited your original post so there's no reference to him/her there. Most of the time, one (if not both) of us are online everyday so if something happens, we'll take care of it when we get here.

I'll lock the thread.
