I have recently been looking through all these new and exciting game shows that have come out in the UK and have realized a trend. In quite a few of UK game shows (Pointless, Beat The Brain, Eggheads) have progressive jackpots that are almost too minuscule to play for. Where as in the US, majority of GSN's new shows (Idiotest, Mind of a Man, Celebrity Name Game) have the same top prize of $10,000 which is pretty substantial yet pretty low.
What I am trying to say is what is your favorite style of giving away money? Is it the progressive jackpot where the money starts low but can get ridiculously high (eg. Duel) or is it the top prize where the contestants can win a set amount of money but have no chance to win anymore (eg. 1000 Heartbeats)?
Fill in what you think down below!

Although progressive jackpots probably call for more interesting viewings, I think it's best for viewers and contestants to go in with a goal in mind. Otherwise, it just seems too spontaneous.
