Hey guys!
I know most will find this thread to be somewhat pointless, but I just wanted to know what you think about Nintendo's old Millionaire games for the GBA.
I own some of them, actually. I have the UK version. The 2nd and Junior editions should be in my mailbox in just a few weeks.
On that note, which versions of the game do you have?
I hope to hear from you soon.

Hello ben! After I read your thread, I took the time to have a quick look and play with Millionaire: Junior. It took so long to dig it out! Below I have contemplated some of my thoughts and opinions and also looked on a few websites to find other peoples perpectives. It is not surprising that we both agreed with eachothers writing! I hope you enjoy the games, as I always have loved the popular series of Millionaire video games. - If you do not enjoy watching the show, then this certainly not for you. - Millionaire: Junior allows you to test your general knowledge on-the-go as it's portable! - Unfortunately the idea of the questions is focused on the British people, and so those of us from other countries across the world will possible have a hard time with quite a few of them. - With a large bank of questions to ask, there is bound to be a good selection for all categories! Every game will be different, but you may find yourself experiencing repeating questions. -The game is very realistic, following the typical day on the Millionaire set, the lifelines function well. -As usual some of the last questions are quite obscure, so you may find yourself in a "Pickle". - Unfortunately the Gameboy Advance is nothing like a console, and we respect that there are certain limitations with the hardware. The interface is quite easy however to use with the d-pad and A and B buttons used to move, confirm and cancel options. In between questions you get to see some rather poor-in-picture quality recorded clips follows the TV shows method of building up tension. Unfortunately though we see an empty hotseat which is in my opinion quite surprising, however we do see a soundtrack and the lights down effect.

Thank you very much for sharing, jadenmillionaire. (I now have the 2nd Edition of the British game, Junior should be here soon.) I agree with your thoughts and I do enjoy the games very much. For the GBA being what it was, I won't complain about the camera continuously going in and out of the computer after a question is answered correctly or the game's very limited soundtrack. The game is very difficult for me, as I am an American, and I usually fail the game within the first five questions, so I use the Internet sometimes which is why I've won £1 Million three times on the first edition. For all of those time-wasting animations, I just use the handy dandy Start button to skip them! They are nice animations, but I just think they are somewhat unnecessary. As for the repetition of most questions, I just use it to my advantage, for example, if I get it wrong the first time I see it, I'll get it right every other time! When I first realized that other countries have their own versions of the game, (France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Australia...) I was disappointed that there wasn't one created for the USA! (I believe a fake American version was reported here back in 2009.) Since it's the only other country with the game in the English language, I searched for the Australian version, but I wasn't able to find it for a good price. ($30? Seriously?) In conclusion, I would like to say that I still enjoy the game a lot, despite how simple it is, and hopefully I can win the top prize many more times.
