First of all, sorry for my bad English. From Indonesia, I'll try my best.
I've been a millionaire since the age of 11, and i create a lot of millionaire flash games, but unfortunately, all the files were gone. And now I'm back, and got interested again in Millionaire. and i found this forums, After reading a lot of things, i decided to join in and create this thread. The last episode of millionaire Indonesia is at 2010, they not gonna return the show again. which is sad...
So yeah, Hello Everyone, and I'm gonna shares some of stuff in here!
Thanks Everyone!

"Welcome on board, have a great flight!" Ha Ha. I would have to agree with you... The millionaire craze is starting to die down, and we are starting to seem many international versions pack their bags! If only they could invent a way to make the game more fun, but keep the dramatic millionaire style... *"Cough Cough, The Clock!"*

Welcome inadmk! If only they could invent a way to make the game more fun, but keep the dramatic millionaire style... *"Cough Cough, The Clock!"* THIS. IMO, there are 2 things that can bring Millionaire some of the tension and excitement back: 1. Progressive jackpot, like the Philbin-era USA version. Add additional money to the top prize for every game without a millionaire. If you use the US as an example, and take Sam Murray out of the equation, then the jackpot would have been increasing for the last 10 years (Nancy Christy). The jackpot might be somewhere around $8,000,000 today. 2. Clock. A clock makes it easier for the production team from an editing standpoint, and it's easier for the audience because they don't have to sit around for a ridiculous amount of time waiting for something to happen. Yes, Millionaire is all about having the contestant be put on the spot and making them think, but even your patience wears thin after a while with having to wait. This would be how I'd do the clocks, with no bank time: Q1-5: 0:30 seconds Q6: 0:40 seconds Q7: 0:50 seconds Q8: 1:00 minute Q9: 1:15 minute Q10: 1:30 minute Q11: 1:45 minute Q12: 2:00 minutes Q13: 2:15 minutes Q14: 2:30 minutes Q15: 3:00 minutes

Wow woffan! Fantastic idea, I never in a 'Million' years would have thought about the progressive jackpot, but let's face it, it would be truly difficult for the daytime version to fund, plus practically no one would every win it because the questions are hard. I was thinking possibly the Australian idea from 'Multi Millionaire' when Eddie would start a 1.00 clock if the contestant was taking too long!
