Who remembers growing up with this show? Being the first of it's kind, this show made my imagination go nuts when I was a kid. At first I thought (naturally) they really were inside a video game! Soon after, I knew that wasn't possible, so I thought they had a giant TV screen behind them (that they weren't allowed to look at). Once I learned what Chroma Key was (maybe 11 or 12?) I figured that the video zone was this awesomely huge blue obstacle course with all levels, and something amazing to behold!! ....then I learned what it really was. It was an obstacle course alright; an obstacle course of death! Narrow walkways, tons of production equipment, loose wires to trip over, bad lighting on everything but the game levels, being rushed around in said death traps by production crew, and overall an injury liability just waiting to happen! I don't know how these kids survived. Finally, to totally kill any childhood hopes and imaginative dreams about this show, the game levels were constructed of what looks like cheap plywood and PVC pipe. So much for an imagination

I used to love this show so much! I never knew that was what the bonus round looked like backstage. I always imagined it being being built with some sort of metal structuring, not just PVC pipes and ladders. The maingame was kind of weird though, and Phil Moore's hosting was even more so.
