Hey my fellow boarders :3
As many of you know, the theme to a show is one of the main factors of nostalgia of that show. Where if you hear it, all the memories come flooding back to you. I want to ask you to pop down your 5 or 3 favorite game show themes whether they bring back memories or how they pump you up for the show ahead.
My Top 5
5. Millionaire (Classic Theme)- It is one of the most recognizable themes ever heard and it gets you ready for the quizzing ahead.
4. 1 VS 100- Talking about getting you pumped up! The orchestra in this theme get your heart racing and your head filling with all kinds of things. I enjoy hearing it every time I watch the show
3. The People Versus- Out of the formats and themes made by Celador and the Strachans, I think that this one is just the better one. The Gothic style of the music just perfectly fits the cutthroat style of the game and the pounding of the piano just gets you the tingles on your spine. I wouldn't change anything about it (and I highly recommend you check the show out! Made by the same guys who made Millionaire)
2. The Crystal Maze- Simply put one of the best themes for one of the best game shows ever made. I watched this show religiously when I was younger and it is just nostalgic to me. This gives a sense of adventure to who ever listens to it and makes you want to climb and run over what ever you can see! (Or is that just me?)
And my number 1 is.....
The Krypton Factor (Any version)- This may not sound like a great theme but it is one that hold many memories to me. I used to watch The Krypton Factor with my grandad and we always used to play along with the contestants. It also holds many stages of evolution through how TV has changed, with the earliest theme being soft to the 2009 remake being a full orchestral blast in the face. It is just one that can mean quite a few things to people and to me it means good times and fun.
