Hi Everybody !
As you know i'm French but I love look around foreign TV.
And I found a trick for access to the iTV Player outside the UK and view the videos in HQ*
(*Depends speed of your internet connection)

1) Found a Proxy :
Check for a free proxy Here or Search on Google.
Here's the proxy that I use : Address : 83.170.114.133 & Port : 3128

2) Enter your proxy in Windows :
Go to "Control Panel" and "Internet Options" Now in "Connections" and "LAN Settings"
Once here
check the box : "Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings....) "
check the box : "Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings....) "
Now copy & paste your address and port of your selected proxy server and click "OK" and again "OK".
3) Go to your favorite web browser :
Go to www.itv.com/itvplayer/ and select a program that you want to see and play the video.
If iTV ask you to determine your location click "Deny" (if a Active X plugin appears)
and enter this Zip Code : WC1X8HF and click "OK"
4) For HD video stream trick :
As you know the proxies connection speed are very low but if as me you have a very good connection
(I've got 200 Mb/s Fiber Optic Connection) there's a trick for switch from proxy connection to your own connection for better quality.
When the message "You're watching on demand please do not try to vote or enter any ..." and once the show started
approximately 0:30 Seconds relaunch "Internet Options" box go to "LAN Settings"
and deselect the option "Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings....) " and click "OK" and again "OK"
And now you can stop, resume, go back your video without proxy
and the video quality will be at the maximum of your connection speed !
NOTE : DO NOT REACTIVATE YOUR AD-BLOCKER OR REFRESH THE PAGE !
OR THE VIDEO STREAM WILL STOP !

Why iTV said me : "Ad Block Detected !" ?
Disable your ad-blocker because iTV detects it and block your video from playing.
I can't access the webpage
If you can't access the page take an other proxy. Sometimes some of them are down.
I've got the error : "Sorry, this video is not available in your region"
You probably made a mistake because it seems iTV know you're not in UK.
Retry the instructions. If it's fail again try with an other proxy.
I've got the error message "We encountered an error..."
Sometimes the proxy simply bugs. Just refresh the page. If it's comes again take an other proxy.
