Big red posts like that is the same as stooping down to his level. Don't do it. Ignore them or throw in a funny comment then leave it to the staff. Quite frankly, big bolded posts like that are just as annoying.

The French set is amazing, and to be honest they thoroughtly deserve it, I mean come on they had been using the old set for so many years! The new frnech set, looks astonishing and truly is the "Millionaire set of the future" What future? There is no future. Not for me, anyway! ITV has seen to that!

Ukraine version 2005 This one isn't too bad... Looks like the US set minus the "broken glass" under the stage.

BUMP
Here's the set that IMO isn't terrible, but it looks kind of weird depending how you look at.
Here's Slovakia:

I agree, this studio is a bit odd, but what is it that feels strange to you? First of all, look above to the top of the set. The set designer decided that the gate lights would extend all the way there as you see. Second, speaking of gate lights, usually during that time (late 90s - early 2000s) the gate lighting were usually shade of warm white, however Slovakia (along with other countries) uses the blue lighting (presumably the blue plexiglas over the white lighting) making this somewhat futuristic and bland at the same time. Again, it's not a bad set design, but it looks somewhat odd for me.

You make some good points, @paolo16gula, and I must say I agree.
They did update their studio later on, which removed the "oddities" of this studio and made it look a bit more like the original design.
What do you think?

Agreed, ben . Even the hot seat was changed to look like the original design aside of (among others) neon lights around the set. However, I'd once again point out on the original set that I didn't the first time. I was writing about the hot seat, right? Look at the original, They've decided to make what Slovenia had in the first post of this thread. Aside of the 'circular' design of the hot seat, by quoting Victor : "too much branding, too little design". And also, take a look what I've discovered regarding the 1st set design. Pay attention at the FFF seats: This was the 1st set revision, which as you can see, actually Argentina wasn't the only country to use CRT monitors for the FFF seats. Slovakia would change to the LCD monitors later on.

I know I saw another country's studio using CRT monitors for the Fastest Finger First computers, I just can't remember which one…! Anyway, was this the first design for Slovakia's set, or was your picture showing an updated version? edit: After all this time, I finally remembered that the country's studio I was referring to was Slovenia.

was this the first design for Slovakia's set, or was your picture showing an updated version? I'm not sure, but I assume that the set version with the CRTs for the FFF seats might be the first one. The updated version would get rid of the CRTs and replace them with LCD monitors. This was before they would update to look like a more original design (from 2005-06) shown in this clip.
