My staff locked this thread and brought it to my attention today, and a number of members were also put off by its existence.

First, let me say that this thread in no way breaks any rules. But, I don't really think that "Weekly Millionaire" is entirely necessary if "Daily Millionaire" already exists. Since the exact same game is already running on a daily basis, it just seems kind of pointless to start up a weekly version. It will undoubtedly lead to confusion and, at the very least, clutter on the boards. So, I'm maintaining the lock and bringing an early end to "Weekly Millionaire". Anyone interested in playing the game is highly encouraged to check out the "Daily Millionaire" thread.

tarrantfan001, I appreciate your desire to start up your own game in the community. But making a clone of an already existing game just isn't the best way to do that. A number of members have also expressed annoyance in your tendency to bump old threads. I echo their frustration. Please, do not bump old threads unless you genuinely have something new and exciting to add to the conversation. There are plenty of current threads on the boards that you can actively participate in. I encourage you to make a real effort to make meaningful posts in the community, because if you don't you will undoubtedly be blamed for trying to rack up a post count to gain access to the Fan Games board, which will get you in hot water with other members here.
