Hi Guys, Was catching up some some recordings today and noticed they changed the layout for Ask the Audience. Dunno if it's just a one time thing they are testing or not but it's an interesting change nonetheless. I didn't have anything setup to record to my PC today so I just took a picture of my TV (lol). After the usual bar graph is removed from the screen, they replace the "A B C D" in the answer lozenges with the percentages. What do you guys think?

I have to say Mech this change looks pretty slick it looks a lot easier to put the percentages in the lozenges then to display it the way they have been doing it for years also it does give the audience a chance to view what they all voted for now.

I think that this is pretty cool, but in my honest opinion, I think that they should put those graphics next to the answer and not block the A, B, C, and D as well as the lozenges. But then again, that is only my opinion, and other members may have other opinions, and I fully respect that.

They still do the old bar graph, but once they take it off the screen they add this in. I agree it's a nice change. The contestant has always had the information presented to for the entire duration of the question on their screen and the home audience only gets a few seconds. They jumped the question by the way. The answer was Burp - which was also the answer to the facebook sweepstakes today on Millionaire's page.

I've always thought that presenting the audience data in this way was the most logical way to go. The original U.S. PC game used this presentation, and I've thought ever since playing that game for the first time that it makes much more sense to let the audience see the percentages throughout the duration of the question. After all, the contestant gets to see the percentages the whole time, so why not the audience? However, I'm very glad that this presentation supplements, instead of replaces, the original graphic. We don't need any more original staples of Millionaire going by the wayside.

They have been showing the audience what they voted for, well at least since season 9, because when I was watching the show a week ago, after a contestant used Ask-The-Audience, the camera quickly showed the contestant's screen and while the question was there, the audience bar graph was shown right next to it, along with the 3 lifelines.
