My favorites are the Classic and Clock (US) formats, I would have chosen UK's clock format too if their rules weren't "If the clock runs out you'll drop back down to $1,000 or go home with nothing"

My favourite format is clock version from USA. For me that was the most dramatic cersion, music, clock. All this things are amasing. So i chose USA clock version.

My downright favorite is Shuffle.
After having had variations of classic for so many years, I believe shuffle brought a new life to Millionaire.

Classic version - without it, we wouldn't even be having this lovely discussion

Wait..by the 12-question format, that's the one the UK version has been using since 2007, right? (i.e. it takes only 2 questions to reach 1000 quid)?
As for my favorite format--Classic without a doubt. Nothing could be worse than having 15 seconds to answer the first 5 questions and "llama"ing out after answering too quickly.

I like the USA clock format. In holland we have the 12-question format, with 15 seconds on the clock for the first two questions and 30 seconds on the clock for questions 3-7. For questions 8-12 there isn't a time limit.
