If you could make any changes to Who Wants to be a Millionaire that you could, what would they be? How would you improve the game? What new edge would you give to the strategy, the drama, the lifelines, ect. Had you been a force behing ABC, how would you have changed Millionaire for the better, maybe even keeping it on the air?

I would change up some of the music cues and make it darker on the upper tier with the lights. For some of the early questions, it just seems too bright with not enough drama.

I agree that the set seems too bright these days. Go back to some of the primetime episodes and notice how much darker the set was, especially in the second and third tier. The lit wall behind the contestants is way too bright and distracting.

One thing that, as a potential future contestant, I'd like to see changed is the prize values back to 32/64/125 vs. the new 25/50/100. As a viewer, the new money tree + Switch the Question is fine, but as a potential contestant I think I probably would've won more with the old system.
If I could do anything with regard to the show, I'd bring back Super Millionaire ASAP. But, had I the opportunity several years ago to save the original show, I would've kept it to twice a week in good time slots, and only air Celebrity Editions sparingly. I would've kept the phone game for finding contestants. That in combination with some improvements to the set I think could've made it a contender for years to come.

Yeah, the old way just made it more efficient I think, doubling up the dollar values until the last three questions. I'd keep the Switch the Question lifeline because it's very cool and proves crucial as to whether or not a contestant goes for the second milestone.
