Hi, I'd like to show you the finished version of the host screen slide for WWTBAM 1998 UK. I'm sorry for any graphic errors. Phone a friend isn't done yet, but it will soon work. Thanks! Kdydko Graphics: -Logo Pyciek-The rest of the graphics osswmiHost Screen UK 1998

It looks good, I can see that you also used my icons in the boxes, that's not a problem. But there is a lot of things you should change to make it look like a real 1998 UK Logo. At first - Change the Money Tree! It's US' money tree, not the UK's money tree! Also, the UK host screen in 1998 had a completely different layout. For example, instead of one box that revelas whether the answer is correct or not, they used two boxes - a green and a red one. If the contestand had picked the correct answer, the red one would've disappeared. If he picked the wrong answer, the green one would've disappearead. The question graphics was almost always at the bottom, not at the top. There were no icons in the boxes whatsoever. It looks like this [my recreation]: As far as I know, both ask the audience graphics and phone a friend clock appeared at the money tree's place. That's all. I really like your Host Screen, but it's not from 1998.

Thank you for your opinion Pyciek! Apparently I mistook the formats, I meant the syndicated version (without switch the question)

a few advises: -when the Audience and Phone-a-Friend lifelines are used, the audience graphics and the clock replace the money tree number and amount. -when the correct answer is given, money strap is shown, just like what is shown on TV.
your host screen looks more like post-2002 UK/U.S. host screen.

Maybe it would've depend of software version...? Take a look at these two pics' : As you can see, there's a black circle in green or red box to indicate if the answer is right or wrong ... And it was clearly used with the old UI.

Maybe right or maybe wrong... Maybe it would've depend of software version...? I thought about the UK version, not about all international host screens that used the old UI. I know that in the thread It looks like I'm talking about all the host screens, but it's my mistake. according to Regis Philbin, when interviewed by Joan Lunden, a correct/an incorrect answer was indicated by the flash. green flash means correct answer, red flash means wrong answer. both boxes (or, as Regis said, dots) were still there though. I know that in both Us and UK host screen's one of the box disappears, as seen in this picture:

In addition to a few mistakes, excellent work. How do you control it?

Thank you Michixer. Everything is controlled remotely, via the keyboard. The special plug installed is responsible for this.

In fact, I could program as many of them as I want, but I only have 7. Keys 1, 2, 3, 4 are used to select the answer and: A - Ask The Audience, P - Phone a Friend and F - Fifty Fifty
