My name is Paul Williams! I'm a fan of WWTBAM from the New York City area.
Just a bit of details about myself:
- I'm a fan of WWTBAM since the Regis days of the original show. (Watched it with family when John Carpenter won the whole thing.) And have been watching it intermittently since.
- I've attended two tapings so far of Millionaire in NYC. (Once with Meredith Viera as the host during the clock format @ 66th Street ABC Studios and once with Cedric The Entertainer during the shuffle format while it was taping at 110th street (near my house).) I've also (failed) both audience tests as well. (Wish I could find out by how much.) I'm also due for a trip to the studio in Connecticut in August. (I miss it when it used to be down the block from my place.)
- I'm a (smaller) streamer (of sorts) on the Twitch.TV, actually streaming my attempts at making a WWTBAM game (it's not pretty and I curse, ALOT)* but usually it's my speedrun attempts at Batman: Arkham Asylum or Batman games altogether. (What can I say, Harley Quinn interests me... >.>) You can also catch me playing MMORPG's like DC Universe Online,
- Some of my other interests include TCG's like Yugioh (where I'm currently a judge for), Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering, Universal Fighting System, My Little Pony (hey ignore the fact that its ponies... and its a good game). As well as board games like Monopoly, Life, and "non-traditional" ones like Carcassone and Settlers of Catan and others.
- Currently attending SUNY Empire State College with the intent of completing a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Information Systems. Also (re-attempting) an Associates of Occupational Studies in Computer Programming from the ASA Institute.
Can't wait to chat and/or play with you all. (I didn't think there were this many fans of the game.)
* I made the asterisk point to kind of draw attention to the fact that I'm NOT only here to "leech" off the works of others with regards to the Fan Game section. In the time that I spent waiting for the eventual approval, I noticed several attempts by unscrupulous characters to enter that section and I intend on doing a lot better than most of those that have been (righteously) tossed and can only endeavor that I'm not one of the flake outs.
