Excellent idea to set up this joker, hoping that if there is a question that seems simple to me but for the celebrities it seems complicated, then I will be happy to stand up and give them the answer with if I can, a explanation (and my family will be proud to see me on screen in front of millions of viewers lol 😂) That's an interesting find! Here is a first look at the set for the 25th anniversary of QVGDM, posted by Arthur on his instagram account :  To say that I am disappointed with the result is an understatement, it doesn't respect the Millionaire format and looks quite cheap ! I'll be in the audience tomorrow so I'll get to see it for real and might try to take a few photos if I can. Idolsfan |

Almost as bad as Uganda's set, which looks cheap in a similar way, and Australia '21, which also looked very temporary. I must say, this may just be the biggest disappointment since Arab League 2021 (it only lasted 1 episode). |

For those who are disappointed with that in a way, keep in mind, that's being filmed at a stadium, what would you expect from arena with around 1.5k people lmao? This is more of a concert experience, and for that and most visibility for all of audience this "set" or should i say more just a scene is great enough.
I mean no one stormed KBC for their season 7 (or was it 8th) opening that happened to be done with this exact scenario and set similarities (although there wasn't any celebs but well, France is France)

I mean no one stormed KBC for their season 7 (or was it 8th) opening that happened to be done with this exact scenario and set similarities (although there wasn't any celebs but well, France is France) I'm not quite sure why a show being filmed at a stadium would permit any Millionaire-related elements... moreover, speaking of set similarities, that KBC set back in 2014 still had elements from the regular KBC set, like not only the monitor stands, also the KBC7-esque lines on the floor, a huge video wall, some other big elements that sorta resembled pillars. It was huge, but it still looked similar enough to their regular set. Instead of those metal frames, QVGDM could've replaced the centre frame with a floating video wall or something, they could've replaced some of the iron scaffolding with the spotlights with structures made similarly to pillars, ... or generally use other elements than just iron bars and spotlights. I'm sure there would've been better ways. |

Just look at the number of people in the audience! Thats insane! This goes like this to all 4 sides of the stage No it wasn't like this on all 4 sides, this was only the case for the side facing the stage. On the left side, we were not that numerous, nobody was on the right side because of the luma crane. I'll write a more detailed description tomorrow (without divulging any outcome of the games I saw), but one thing I can tell you is that they used the classic question beds and Olga-Annemie graphics (regular blue/silver), but also pop music (like "Espresso" or Beyoncé) for the guests' entrance, going to commercial and after the commercial break. It was great taking part in this event. I will detail things tomorrow, but as a purist of the format, quite a few production choices made me angry... Idolsfan |
