You're going well and seem very calm, composed, and confident too.
With still all 4 lifelines available if you need any, take a look at Question 7 for £4,000: *** Strachan Q7 theme begins playing ***

No need to make this suspenseful either... That's the right answer, and you now have £4,000!
*** £4,000 Correct Answer cue plays ***
*** Lights down £4,000 cue plays, as the set returns back to blue ***
Newton's 3rd Law as formulated along with his other two Laws of Motion, in his book 'Principia Mathematica Philosophiae Naturalis', published in 1686.

I would like to phone a friend final answer

Alright, that's what they're there for. This is a point in the game where lifelines can be most useful.
Let's give your friend narmo.dk a call firstly. Of course, it's totally your choice whether to accept any answer they give, and you'll still have 3 other lifelines if needed.
*** Phone begins dialling, before the friend picks up the phone ***
Hello, it's CB here from Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
*** Friend replies with hiya and asks how the host is ***
I'm very well, thanks for asking!
Your friend didmychores too is doing well, but is stuck at £4,000 on a particular question and needs your help.
They'll tell you the question with 4 possible answers, and one which will take them to £8,000. Can you just confirm there's somebody from security supervising you, making sure you're being watched like a hawk? *** Friend replies in the affirmative to confirm such *** Great, so we're all set... There's 30 seconds on the clock, and your time starts NOW! *** PAF Countdown cue begins, set lighting adjusts to PAF theming, as the clock begins ticking down from 30 seconds... ***

*PAF clock start*
narmo.dk: I find that there is a Jacksonian air on this first title, while the other 3 I find them downright Madonna (especially the last one given what it has become today lol) *audience are shocked laughing* didmychores: so you would say answer A? narmo.dk: affirmative didmychores : many thanks narmo.dk: no problèmo
*PAF clock end*

Alright I'm gonna go ahead and trust my good friend here and say answer choice A, final answer.
And if this question is correct, I will NOT set my second checkpoint

*** Q8 Final Answer cue plays *** Your friend seemed very confident about their answer, still with 8 seconds on the clock remaining before the call ended.
I can reveal that the answer is not B or D. That leaves either Like A Prayer or what you've gone for from your friend's answer: Leave Me Alone (Click below text to open spoiler){You had £4,000 pounds...} *** Host pauses for a moment before revealing... ***And it's the right answer!
*** Q8 Correct Answer cue plays *** *** Audience applauds enthusiastically, before the £8,000 lights down cue plays *** Indeed, your friend was spot on. Leave Me Alone is a song written by Michael Jackson for his 1987 album 'Bad'. All the other 3 songs are from Madonna.
Very good, and to only need 1 lifeline on that question still keeps you in a strong position. As we can see from the money tree:
Sounds good as you feel to keep going without setting your 2nd Safety Net just yet.
At stage of the game, often contestants look at narrowing down a target they have in mind. Of course, everyone wants to win the million. But is there any minimum amount you're hoping to win tonight, and do you have any plans for the money?

Obviously I'm gonna shoot for the million, but if I could at least get to 6 digits I'd be happy. I'd probably spend the money on rent in an apartment so I wouldn't have to have a job for a year and could just do whatever I want

You're well on the way to six figures, and I believe you can keep up the momentum. Of course, you do still have those 3 remaining lifelines whenever needed.
Here comes Question 9 for £16,000.
See how you'd like to play:

Sure thing.
Okay audience, the question is... *** ATA start cue begins, as studio lighting brightens ***
Stephenson's Rocket was an early type of what? A on your keypads to vote Motorbike, B for Automobile, C for Locomotive, and D for Hovercraft. All vote now please... *** ATA voting cue begins while the audience votes ***

So 70% of the audience believe the answer is C: Locomotive That's quite a high confident vote proportionally, but it's totally your call which way you'd like to play from here, didmychores. A right answer will take you to £16,000, but you would drop £7,000 if getting this wrong. And just a reminder, you do still have 50:50 and can Switch The Question if needed.

I'm gonna go with the audience guess and say Locomotive final. And if I'm right, I will still not set my new checkpoint
