Congratulations, you ninja'd me, just wanted to post the news. And it's final (pun intended), Zeka Milioner is indeed coming back to host Milioner after 11 years off the air. The promo is the basic "Final Answer promo" which features a lot of Chris Tarrant, a bit of Eddie McGuire and Hot Seat, and the Japanese host (forgot his name) going "FAINARU ANSAAA". Cue "Ask the Host" music and "Da li je to vaš konačan odgovor?"...

hahaha excellent that, I knew he was coming back haha. I knew. it's not possible to restart "želite li da postanete milioner?" without Zeka Milioner. I'm glad he's doing the show again. And then he comes back to Europe, that's already it.
PS: the japanese host is Monta Mino

youtube.com/watch?v=eHnTP65IyJIThere's this interview Zeljković did a couple days ago for NOVA's morning news live... and the studio is clearly the "modernized classic studio" used only by Poland and Bulgaria. This photo of yours only confirms it is indeed the Sofia studio.

The interview I posted above talks a bit how Zeljković and Bilalov were pretty close during the filming. Zeka also mentioned in the interview that he also made friends with Frank Edoho via social media and that he was really happy about the Serbian version returning. (For those of you who don't know: Serbia pretty much helped build Africa up during the 70s and 80s, when the colonial period ended, so many people there - we're talking millions - have a really fond spot for Serbs because of what we did there)

Milioner starts September 19th at 9.30 PM. Officially announced, just saw part of the trailer for it. Mondays are going to be problematic because the show's going directly opposite the Serbian version of The Chase (even moreso because Millionaire starts right at the middle - The Chase runs from 9 to 10PM Mondays), but Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays should be smooth sailing ratingswise.

The "50:50" trailer makes me think of a Britannia Biscuits sponsor ad from KBC in the 2000s, in which the contestant asks to use 50:50, with Bachchan responding by giving the contestant a Britannia 50:50 biscuit. Thank Wikipedia for the source of that information by the way.

So, "Ask the audience" is replaced my Switch? Why they are phasing out "Ask the audience" although audience is present in the studio?

So, "Ask the audience" is replaced my Switch? Why they are phasing out "Ask the audience" although audience is present in the studio? Show's being filmed in Bulgaria for now, and standard Serbian isn't understood that well by some Bulgarians, especially those from the east of the country. So no possible way to implement ATA as Nova chose not to bring in a Serbian audience.

First episode just aired. This is the moneytree (from my recollection): 5000000 2500000 1125000 640000 320000 160000 80000 40000 20000 10000 5000 4000 3000 2000 1000
Safety nets and top prize in bold. Music-wise, the show is the same as all Olga based revivals - classic Q6 and Q7 music, rest is rave Phone-A-Friend uses the 2008 US clock format style (photo, name and location of friend, 30 second clock). The first contestant (a 73 year old woman) phoned her son who lives somewhere in Belgium, and the call was apparently routed through Viber, which I think was interesting. So no booth isolation nor production oversight.

I like the part when on question 12 was based on among us,that moment I laughed so hard that i can't even imagine The difficulty was more than adequate given few people older than 30 probably cared about amogus when it was popular. I mostly knew about it from all the sus memes but never cared for it all that much. Ironic how the switched question was much more of an 80s thing given that was the time Dylan Dog and other Bonelli comics were actually popular in Serbia.
