Immediately noticed the 2001 US opening theme. Kinda works, I guess.

The recycling of the 2001 US theme gives me all the feels. It’s a great version of the theme that has been criminally underused over the years. Nice touch.
Can’t wait to see a full episode!

The way they use the 2001 US theme though...meh. That could have been done better. They have basically looped a portion of it. And the end seems to have a quick fade out.

I agree, but the fact that they are using the US 2001 theme does make me happy.
This feels a lot like the Weakest Link—they've definitely taken a lot of inspiration from that show. But this is, nevertheless, quite a great spinoff.

Yeah but think of it this way: They had to use a theme where they could loop the words / the title "Fastest Finger First" from the beat properly. And here you can hear these 3 words clearly if you speak or sing along the theme. If you take the timestamps from my opening titles video posted earlier 0:02 "Fastest" 0:05 "Finger" 0:08 "First" 0:09-0:11 "Fastest-Finger-First" 0:11 "Fastest" 0:15 "Finger" 0:17 "First" 0:18-0:20 "Fastest-Finger-First"

Even if I'm not English at all, this title and this musical excerpt go perfectly well, which I find excellent (well anyway, the Strachans have been excellent all the time).

After the three episodes of the FFF aired, I went on Twitter and noticed that many viewers seemed to have a pretty negative opinion about this spinoff. Many say that this variety show does not seem to have an award, except for being on a hot seat at WWTBAM. Others say that watching the FFF as if they are watching the opening of WWTBAM is repeated. And a friend of mine told me about the FFF that this variety show seems to have given players twice the chance to appear on television, but also cost them twice as much to participate in. So, from the perspective of a WWTBAM fan, what do you think of Fastest Finger First after the first three episodes?

I like the show but 7 repetitive fastest finger questions in a row are a little boring. Also, I'm not a fan of the fact you can go to the head to head and keep winning it (like Helen in the first episode) and potentially lose the whole thing to someone who hasn't done well all show just like that; there should be some sort of incentive for each time you've done head to head when it comes down to the final one. I like some of the recycled cues, but they're also repetitive. I know Matthew Strachan is gone but if each head to head had a new cue in a higher key each time (like the main game), that would be nice as well. Some other new cues would have been nice (or even just some ones other countries have used). Not sure if anyone picked up on it, but they used a clock-era bed near the end of the episode.

When we discussed it together while watching the show live, we assumed that winning the first three rounds was to let the player "hold the chair" for the last round without going through the quick answer round. As for music, I recognized Clock's soundtrack in yesterday's episode, and I hope more sound will be included in the next episodes. For me, getting a player score of zero when answering wrong is quite "killful" compared to programs that use the same type of play (such as "Nhanh như chớp" or a French game show, where even the position on the scale is zero when wrong but the number of correct answers in the longest sequence is reserved for final score). And I agree about the award with the comments on Twitter, that ITV should have another extra prize for the winner in addition to showing them to the hot seat on the official show.
