I have no clue where I found this on my phone but it showed up earlier and I thought it was really interesting.
I can't find a date of when this happened, but the article was published 12 hours ago as of this post but the picture posted along with it insinuates 2002.... but the math doesn't add up. Then again, it is Fox News, so...

Yep, that's it. The episode aired on Monday, and all the questions were recycled from earlier episodes. The million euro question came from a celebrity special that aired in 2002, and the contestant remembered the question and the correct answer. It was the same for the €500,000 question (I knew that one too, because I had seen the original episode) and a few earlier ones. It was amazing watching him.
Another tidbit: He used his "Ask One of the Audience" lifeline for his €125,000 question only to pick the woman who had been asked that same question in the hotseat years before. The audience consisted entirely of former contestants, but it was still quite a coincidence.
