Okay, we can do that. Audience! Let’s try and help exambolor up to £8,000 if we can, this is the question. *Q8 Background Music stops, lights come up, set turns orange, ATA Start plays* Which of Henry VIII’s wives did he reportedly say looked like a horse? A on your keypads is Catherine of Aragon. B is Anne Boleyn. C is Anne of Cleeves, and D is Catherine Howard. If you’re ready audience, all vote now! *ATA Vote plays, lights flash around the studio* Post ————— Peachfanclub will provide the audience results. ————— End

*Q8 Final Plays* 63% is a pretty decent majority of our Audience... As always, they haven't let you down! *Q8 Win plays, audience cheer, lights come up, set turns orange* *Q9 Lights Down plays, set turns blue* So, that was the first Lifeline you've needed, you've still got two more at your disposal. The next question is worth £16,000. If you get it wrong, you'll lose £7,000, so make sure to be careful, and use those Lifelines if you're unsure. Here it comes, good luck. *Q9 Background music plays*

Post ----------------------------- I think this is a bad question. None of these answers are correct. I've watched quite a lot of the UK Chase, and the only nickname for a Chaser that's based on a surname is the Sinnerman which is Paul Sinha's nickname, and that's not one of the four choices.
I apologise for doing this as the contestant, but it had to be pointed out ---------------------------- End

Post ————— Just because the answer isn’t obvious, doesn’t mean it’s a flawed question. Yes, Paul Sinha’s nickname is obviously based on his surname, but another of the Chaser’s names is as well. It isn’t obvious, but there is a correct answer, and so I will not be replacing this question. ————— End

*Here I am secluded in a locked-off room within the studio, guarded by security such that I have no access to the Internets. I hear a very British-sounding dial tone coming from the rotary phone in front of me, at which point I pick up.* Hello, this is your friendly Minnesotan Phone-a-Friend speaking. What's the question? *I hear a short round of laughter, followed by the host explaining the contestant's situation.* Ok, fire away. *At the start of the timer, the contestant reads off the question and four possible answers.* The Chase, huh? That's an interesting question. You sure this is a legit question? *The host affirms there are no flaws.* Well then... Ryan is the Vixen, I don't think it's that. Hegerty is the Governess... probably not. I know Labbett's the Beast, and you know, Labbett is the only one that's sticking in my head, just because I reckon Labbett feels most likely to be a foreign translation of the Beast... if that means anything. Ok, bye. *I hang up.*

*Q9 Final Plays* Well, you didn't seem 100% certain, and neither did you Phone-A-Friend... You could've gone 50:50. You didn't need to though, you've got £16,000! *Q9 Win plays, audience cheer, lights come up and set turns orange* *Q10 Lights Down plays, set turns blue* Yes, The Beast's nickname is derived from his surname Labbett being very similar to the French term 'La Bête', which literally means 'The Beast'. Now, you've got £16,000. The next question is for a guarenteed £32,000, and you still have that 50:50, or you can use that to Switch the Question. Here comes question 10, good luck. *Q10 Background music plays*

I'm having a really terrible run of questions unfortunately, so I have to use my last lifeline, I'll use my 50:50 to switch the question.

Okay, no worries. Computer, exambolor wants to Switch the Question. *STQ Start plays, stairs turn white* The questions now out of play, but I can tell you that the right answer was Determination. *STQ Reveal Answer plays* So, Computer, please replace this question for another, still valued at £32,000. *STQ Swap plays, set turns blue, Q10 Background music plays* Hopefully that one's a bit better for you. Remember, if you get it wrong, you'll lose £15,000, but you can still Walk Away.
